Race Night 11th October 2019

Don’t leave it too late to book your ticket for our Race Night on Friday 11th October 2019 in aid of our charity this year –

Basingstoke and Alton Cardiac Rehabilitation Centre.
The event is again being held at Weybrook Park Golf Club, 7pm for a 7:30pm supper
with racing starting at 8:30pm prompt.
Tickets are only £11, which includes a carvery supper
(Vegetarian options are Mushroom and Stilton Wellington or Nut Roast with a Goats Cheese Crust.  Please let Celia know your choice when you book your ticket.)
Bets will be £1 but if you are feeling lucky you are welcome to place as many as you like.
It would be a great help to those on the tote if you could bring plenty of change.
Even if you don’t wish to bet you are still welcome to come for the meal and enjoy a fun social evening with BMGOC.
Friends and family are welcome if you would like to bring anyone
You will also have the chance of becoming the owner of a horse and that is the whole horse not just a leg or a fetlock!  If your horse wins you’ll be receiving a lovely prize.
You are welcome, if you feel so inclined, to come in your best race going gear but otherwise just wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
To book your place please make a payment of £11 per person to the club account:

For those that have not been on the run before, it starts at Whiteways Roundabout (Cafe) on top of the South Downs on Bury Hill (A29) with magnificent views over Amberley and the Arun Valley. The route generally meanders along the lee of the South Downs reaching the finish point at Western Gardens, on the seafront at Eastbourne.
